When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a scheme to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a storage facility in Quebec; I’m glad I did. These are 30-minute episodes that are silly, humorous, funny, dramatic, and engaging. Likeable characters and light entertainment. I’ve watched all 6 episodes and can’t wait for season 2. A few surprises to wrap up the series nicely. I recommend watching, and it’s the perfect amount of time. which is perfect for a half-hour show. Any longer and it would have dragged on. The French soundtrack is also engaging. I’m going to look it up on YouTube Music. Check it out… "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
