Fargo is strong in this case

Remy Bouchard (Guillaume Cyr) is the frustrated lone security guard at the association warehouse. Mike Byrne (Chris Diamantopoulos) is a pickpocket from a Boston mob family. Like that franchise, this could have been a movie or a TV show.

The homage is paid

Plus, there’s the snow, the quirky criminals and small-town people, and even the true/untrue story. The cast is led by the greatness of Margo Martindale and the slightly shaky Chris Diamantopoulos. Two things bothered me at first and held me back somewhat.

That takes some getting used to

The story is inherently silly, and I’m not sure the Fargo treatment is worth it. The other problem is the language barrier. Despite the slow start, the show leaves me wanting more.
