Story
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler lands in a high-profile job she’s not suited for, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. Producers convinced both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the fledgling American Embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

The only unavailable location was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador. Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London next to Buckingham Palace, producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes.

The show follows a diplomat (Keri Russell) who gets a new job as ambassador to the United Kingdom after an international crisis occurs when an aircraft carrier is attacked. She also has to deal with her husband (Rufus Sewell), who is already a political star, and her troubled marriage.
I’m looking forward to watching it and seeing how the show develops
I enjoyed this show so much that I watched all eight episodes in one weekend. It’s doing so well and has been so well received that it has already been prematurely renewed for another season.
