A continuation of a story about the settlement of the American West. It follows the further adventures of characters first introduced in Horizon: An American Saga. The film was originally scheduled for an August 16, 2024 release. However, after the commercial failure of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024), New Line Cinema removed its sequel from its original release date, postponing it indefinitely. Chapter 2 premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2024, with an uncertain theatrical release. Followed by Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024). I loved this from start to finish. I can’t believe the bad reviews and ratings. I’m a huge fan of Westerns and this is quality from start to finish. The thing to remember is that it’s part of a longer story, Part 1 is all about introducing the main characters. The three hours flew by and now I’m really looking forward to watching Episode 2 as soon as possible. I really hope all the episodes are made and released because I believe people will see the entire show as a masterpiece. Great cinematography, great acting, brutal scenes that I’m sure are realistic. I give it a 9 out of 10 only because sometimes the story doesn’t flow as well as it could. But I loved it.
