It’s so tonally disjointed
I love Niecy Nash and grisly murders, but the rest is a big "WTF is this"? It’s typical Ryan Murphy nonsense after a few episodes.

Give me more about Lois, Merritt and the actual investigation (minus the absurd abbess). That is good, but the rest is not.
Why can’t he have a consistently good season anymore?
It started out pretty good and started going off the rails by episode 3, full of nonsensical scenes, in intentionally funny… Like it can’t do a serious show anymore (this happened to Monsters of the Year Season 2 as well).
