After months of isolation, Isherwood "Ish" Williams learns that much of the world has been stricken by a mysterious disease. But, despite his instincts to remain isolated, Ish leads the development of a new civilization.

The series offers a refreshing perspective on post-apocalyptic life, which I really appreciate

However, the pacing feels rushed, and the characters lack sufficient development

For example, Evie’s trauma is introduced but not explored deeply enough, and her arc feels incomplete. Additionally, new characters are introduced frequently, but the audience is not given enough time to connect with them or fully appreciate their roles in the story.

Slowing down the narrative or focusing more on character development could have significantly improved the experience

I wish they had delved more into what happened to the children or Evie’s family—their stories felt incomplete, and left me hanging. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
