I read Lindsay’s excellent books – Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter – a while back, and when I found out there was going to be a series based on those books, I was super excited.

The show maintains the uncomfortable atmosphere of the novels with better fidelity than ever expected, and Dexter (played by Hall) is all over it. The visuals of the show are impressive to say the least. Disturbing, sure, but more than that – fascinating.
This has a permanent place on my DVR
Watching the show, one can’t help but find some agreement in himself for Dexter. He is a monster, but it is completely possible to identify with him. 10 out of 10.
