In a future fooled by next-day delivery, the conglomerate Nefaricorp dominates human existence with the help of high technology, bargains and free shipping. Their development of cloning technology replaced workers around the world with replicants, including the police. These police clones are produced in a laboratory and programmed to kill or die when asked to do so.
