A generational story about families and the special place they inhabit, sharing in love, loss, laughter, and life.. It was first published as a strip in the comics magazine "Raw" in 1989, and was expanded into a 300-page graphic novel in 2014.. Richard's father at one point early in the film names several cities that he states are along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, when in fact these are all cities that are along Interstate 80 in PA, which hadn't even built at the time..

In the past, Zemeckis created classic works like "Forrest Gump, Back to the Future Trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Polar Express" and many other great works I have grown up with. However after The Walk, his works have been disappointing and disappointing to say the least. This movie has a really ambitious and intriguing concept, but unfortunately, despite some solid and interesting moments, Zemeckis fails to experiment with the concept properly and ends up being tedious and underwhelming. The concept of the camera staying in one place and the narrative feels ambitious and creative.
With themes that are interesting and could be innovative on exploration, but Zemeckis' direction and the lack of emotional depth of the movie ruins what could have been a good movie. Almost as if Zemeckis saw The Tree of Life but kind of missed understood what made The Tree of Life amazing and made this more mediocre and dull. Provided with some rough dialogue and pacing issues. The production designs and the camerawork is really good, alongside with the uses of the CGI of the face swap being pretty solid with the colors and movements.
All of the performances are good as it's nice to see Tom Hanks and Robin Wright together again as they have good chemistry and scenes together. But it didn't work because of the sloppy and ham-fisted approach that really fails to do justice.Robert Zemeckis will always still be one of my favorite directors. From Alien: Romulus to Road House, take a look back at some of our favorite posters of 2024.

Men and women live in a giant underground silo where various rules apply that they believe are meant to protect them from the toxic, destroyed world on the surface – whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or changing the world to make a better place, these women are what sci-fi is all about. The fans on the floor rotate through different episodes in the wrong direction as far as the alignment of the rotor blades.
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Must-See TV Shows of 2023 (2023). I just read that Silo has been renewed for another season, so I’m looking forward to seeing where the series goes.
It currently has an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and viewers and an 8.2 here. The music in the film is so good for a reason.
It’s set in a dystopian future where everyone lives in a giant silo hundreds of floors underground. They live there with a set of rules that everyone believes are meant to protect them.
The star-studded cast is led by Rebecca Ferguson and supported by Tim Robbins, Shane McRae, Will Patton, Common, Iain Glen, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, and more.

Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles upon a murder in a basement. Man, I wanted to like it. I liked Colman’s other work, but this is a waste of time.
Some really questionable and predictable script choices and, sorry, not great acting. And poor Colman just gets it wrong here. He reminds me of when Tyler Perry tried to play Alex Cross.
Just unbelievable. As the show dragged on and scene after scene of two people inexplicably whispering to each other (why don’t YOU show us?), it was really hard to stay awake. I always find it funny when non-athletic actors get the chance to play action roles.
(He didn’t like the plot in Far the Walking Dead, and he’s not here either). He always creeps me out and smacks of a vanity project. His mouth opens in every scene as he "thinks" (let’s just say he’s not comfortable in my opinion and is busy playing “straight”).
